Harry Potter Already Making Magic at Box Office

Is it any surprise that the last movie in the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, is making waves at the box office? Of course not. This movie was destined to rake in millions, just as the previous films in the tale of the young magicians have done. But did anyone really expect it to bring in a record-breaking $43.5 million dollars in midnight runs on the first night? Probably not. The figure easily surpasses the previous record holder, Twilight Saga: Eclipse, which earned $30 million in midnight shows. The final Harry Potter movie has already grossed $126 million globally, and it hasn't even had its first weekend ticket sales. By all odds, this movie is on track to become the highest-grossing film of all time. I'd say that's pretty good movie magic.
